Common Questions

Things People Ask Before Enrolling

No university degree is required. Your TESOL certificate from our programme is the qualification you need to teach in Cambodia. We've designed the course to be accessible to anyone with a passion for teaching and a willingness to learn.
Most people are teaching within 8–12 weeks of first contacting us. The online course takes 4–6 weeks, and once you book your flight, Chantrea handles the arrival coordination quickly.
That's completely fine — and very common. The course is designed for people new to teaching. You'll graduate with practical skills, real lesson plans, and the confidence to walk into a classroom on day one.
Cambodia is generally safe for foreigners, particularly in Phnom Penh. Chantrea gives every arrival a full safety briefing and practical tips. The expat and teacher community is well established and very welcoming.
We introduce you to schools actively hiring, help you prepare for interviews, and support you through your first weeks in the classroom. Chantrea remains your on-the-ground contact for as long as you need her.
